Our AML/KYC Policy

Dear Client

Due to the introduction of the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations 2007 and London Local Authorities Act 2007 information services providers to physical persons should be ready to get MLR registered.  Please be aware that this especially concerns to any cryptocurrency – related transactions , so no client without proper identification can be served.

To comply with the regulations, we are required to  indentify  the people who we provide service for and therefore ask for copies of the identification documents for the clients-physical persons and keep the right to require such documents from directors/shareholders and beneficial owners of any our new partners – legal entities , which are transferred to our administration.

Also we keep the right to require any time any documents confirming the identity and the actual residence of the client or the client’s respective representatives.

We keep the right to transfer such information to any anti-money-laundering and law enforcement departments  and  agencies , to respective compliance departments of banks or respective companies on their demand.

What require:

–              Valid proof of ID (valid passport, driving license, National ID card, firearms certificate or shotgun licence) for a each Company’ beneficiary owner, director and a shareholder (holding over 10% of shares);

–              Proof of address (instrument of a court appointment, current council tax demand letter or statement, current bank or credit/debit card statements (but not ones printed off the internet), utility bills (but not ones printed off the internet) for each Company’ beneficiary owner, director and a shareholder (holding over 10% of shares);

–              One bank reference or professional reference for a Company’ beneficiary owner, director and a shareholder (holding over 10% of shares) – for offshore enquiries or in case you are using our nominee or trust services;

* Mobile telephone bills are unacceptable.

In the case that the registered shareholders and/or directors are corporate bodies, the following would be required:

  • Copy of the Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association, duly certified by the competent authority in the relevant jurisdiction (or legalized).
  • Certificate of Good Standing (recent original or legalized copy for companies over 12 month old)
  • Board Resolution/Evidence confirming the appointment of the present directors and shareholders.
  • Documents as above for the directors, shareholders and ultimate beneficial owner(s) if the directors and/or shareholders are corporate bodies.

** If difficulties are encountered in obtaining utility bills, a reference letter from the bank on which the residential address of the individual is confirmed will be acceptable.

*** Please note that one single document cannot be used as an ID and a proof of address.

These can be original documents or copies certified by a: –

  • Family GP;
  • Accountant;
  • Civil Servant;
  • Solicitor;
  • Notary;
  • Post Office branch employee; or
  • Commissioner for oaths

In addition to providing a written certification on the copy document to confirm the identification of the applicant, the certifying individual should also provide their business contact details.

If you are an overseas based client you should provide us copies of passport(s) and utility bill(s) with the notarised translation into English.

Mentioned documents first need to be supplied by e-mail (some orders cannot be processed until at least scanned copies of documents are provided) and certified copies will need to be received by our office via post or courier within 14 working days.

Please choose the best delivery method, as we cannot be held responsible for the documents lost in transit. Please DO NOT send original passports or driver license, as these will not be accepted and might be lost.
